This is a 1 OZ .999 Fine Peace Dollar Round struck in 1987. Apart from silver being one of the best investments on the planet, these silver coins make great gifts and have an inspiring design and a brilliant shine. This one ounce silver bullion coin mimics the beautiful design of the old US Peace Dollar, which was minted and circulated from 1921-1928 and again from 1934-1935. It was designed by Anthony di Francisci to commemorate the cessation of hostilities in World War I.  On the obverse side, this coin has a representation of a Bald Eagle at rest atop a cliff, looking towards the rising sun while clutching an olive branch over the inscription “Peace,” with the words “United States of America” and “.999 Fine Silver” above. The obverse side is complete with the weight of the coin, “One Troy Ounce” struck across the middle.

On the face is none other than a profile of Lady Liberty herself, illuminated by a blazing sun at her flank which gives her the appearance of wearing a heavenly crown, under the inscription “LIBERTY.” The words “In God We Trust” are struck across the middle lower part of the coin. These beautiful coins are a great way to inspire your friends, loved ones, and co-workers and to spread the message of Freedom.
