1 OZ .999+ Fine Silver U.S. Assay Office Round – 1981

1 OZ .999+ Fine Silver U.S. Assay Office Round – 1981

This is a 1981 1 OZ .999+ Fine Silver U.S. Assay Office Round.  This coin was minted from the United States Strategic Stockpile of Silver in San Francisco that existed at the time.  Apart from being one of the best investments on the planet, these silver coins make great gifts, have an inspiring design, as well as a nice shine.  On one side this coin has a representation of a Bald Eagle in front of an American Flag and on the other the mark of the US Assay Office which describes its origin.  A great way to give a piece of American history to your friends, loved ones, and co-workers and to let them know that they are loved and appreciated.

    1. Thanks for checking us out. A one ounce bar as you describe is a common form of silver and you should be able to get at least spot less $1.50 or so for it (roughly $29 as of 1/17/12) at any metals dealer.
